"Check out my new saw, direct from Germany," says Paul Grothouse. He walks with TV personality Norm Abram toward a computer-driven saw inside a workshop at his business, The Grothouse Lumber Co. in Germansville, Heidelberg Township.

Within a minute or two, the two men repeat the sequence again ... and again, as cameras film them from different angles during a taping of the PBS home-improvement series, "The Old House."
