This week's featured question comes to us from Dan, and this fan writes:
Question: I heard about prefinished plywood on The New yankee workshop and am interested in purchasing the plywood, however I am unable to find this product anywhere in our area. I am interested in any information you could give me as to finding a location to purchase this plywood. I am located in Utica, New York 13502. I appreciate your help.
Answer: A useful way to try to find plywood types not carried in the home centers is to seek out local cabinet shops in your area. They will know where you can find specialty plywoods. Alternatively, you may try Columbia Forest Products on the internet. They are a large manufacturer of state-of-the-art building products some of which were used in the "Kitchen Project". Good luck.
