Tom helps a homeowner repair a cracked floor joist.

Where to find it?
Tom fixed a stress crack that formed along the notch of an old floor joist using wood glue and a jack. He then attached the joist to a carrying beam using a joist hanger for rough sawn timbers. These supplies are available at home centers and lumber yards.
