R2-D2 Dome Alignment Bullet set of 6. These are threaded 10-32 x .25" diameter, giving you more precise adjustment than 10-24 threads. Drill your dome ring to just slip over the bullets, add a slight chamfer, and these will enable quick and easier alignment and removal of dome. Your current screws may be 10-24, so be sure and check.
There is an option to also order stainless screws and nuts that fit the Rockler bearings and dome bullets.

1/19/23: More of these are coming. Just don't have a date yet.
This is a replica of one of the real R2 dome toppers. It happens to be the one I took photos of when I was around this particular R2 when Don Bies had it at Steve Sansweet's Rancho Obi-Wan for a photo shoot years ago. Of all the toppers I've seen, it's the most interesting since it has a beveled edge instead of just being rounded over.
It's aluminum and made in two pieces, so finishing is easy. It fits into the hole inside Daren's alum dome, and is held with an included 1/4" ss washer and ss 1/4-28 nut.
These skins have been updated to make them easier to prepare, will show which panels always get removed, and include a coin return flat-pack, which you can use to assemble your own coin returns that can glue to the coin return faces, which are also provided as part of the rolled outside skins.
R2-D2 CS:R Aluminum Skin. This skin is very nicely laser cut, deburred and rolled in 4 pieces. Front and back, inside and outside pieces. The skin will ship in a custom foam cradle and custom box to continental US addresses via UPS ground service, and Priority Mail for all locations outside the U.S., and other U.S. destinations.

If you use sbcglobal for email, you will probably not receive communications from the store.
I'll apologize in advance for the cost to ship outside the U.S. It keeps rising.

R2-D2 CS:L Aluminum Skin. This skin is very nicely laser cut and rolled in 4 pieces. The rolling is complete, and will roll all the small panels as well. Front and back, inside and outside pieces. The skin will ship in a custom foam cradle and custom box to continental US addresses via UPS ground service, and Priority Mail for all locations outside the U.S., and other U.S. destinations.
Australia and New Zealand have temporarily blocked shipping there from the US unless the package is shipping via an expedited method. As this is quite expensive and has to be quoted, please write me if you need skins.
R2-D2 Curved Rear Logic Display. Includes aluminum outer bezel, aluminum inner bezel, both with matching curve to replica R2's display fiber mount. Clear overlay acrylic, three different fiber location acrylics, so you can choose 112 fibers arrayed "wonky", like R2, somewhat less wonky, and one that holds 96 fibers, in case you want to keep your current electronics (from joymonkey). You will need to redo your fiber optics.
R2-D2 Flat Rear Logic Display bezel.
R2-D2 Front Logic Display bezels (pair).
This is out of stock at this time. I will post updates on it to my parts forum posting.
Note: If you are buying more than 1 HP, selected qty 1 and the options and mounting location you want for that one, and add to cart. Then, subsequently, do the same thing for the next ones. This matters as the mounting rings are custom drilled for the three locations, front, back and top.
This is a servo mount, mount hardware, and servo screws. This mount fits both my HP mounting rings, as well as the BobC rings.
This is a Wide Mouth HP slip ring adapter. It only works with my Wide Mouth HPs.
Seamless R2 Dome Ring with specs identical to the ones Granite Earth sells with the hydrodomes, except the alignment holes are sized to fit my 1/4" dome alignment pins. This limited run was made possible as Daren shipped me the material, which added additional cost.
As international shipping is very expensive due to the need to use Priority Mail, if you are outside the US, select shipping - "Everywhere Else", and I'll send you a shipping quote. Be aware the cost is estimated between $60 and $100+ outside the US. Somewhat less to Canada.
This adapter fits the Granite Earth dome drive and allows you to install Pixelfiend's geared dome setup. It has 3 screws for attaching to the motor shaft after you cut it to length. It's best if you can file flats onto the shaft for each of the fixing screws. If you have a dome plate right on top of the gear set, you will want to countersink 82 degrees for flathead screws. The adapter comes with both capscrews and flathead screws.
When you order your gearset from Pixelfiend, tell him you are using this adapter and he will drill the proper holes in the pinion.
When this goes out of stock, these will not be run again.
This kit includes precision machined parts used to build a MaxDrive designed by Maxstang in the Astromech R2 forum. This is all the parts you could have waterjet or laser cut by a service provider. The difference is these parts are machined to tolerances that will allow you to most likely do a straight-forward assembly. The parts will come unassembled, but you can see what they look like in the photo.
These have a more robust attachment between the plates and the eccentric axle mount is machined from a single piece.
Thkit now includes the ten 1/2" x 1-3/4" aluminum spacers and bolts, which will save you a little money over McMaster.
International shipping is quite expensive as the pair weigh 5lbs, which requires Priority postage.
Please see Maxstang's Maxdrive thread here: https://astromech.net/forums/showthread.php?40891
This kit includes precision machined parts used to build a 232 MaxDrive designed by Maxstang in the Astromech R2 forum.
You should only buy this if you have been in contact with Maxstang, and know this is just part of the items necessary to implement his design. These parts only work with styrene feet.
