This is a replica of one of the real R2 dome toppers. It happens to be the one I took photos of when I was around this particular R2 when Don Bies had it at Steve Sansweet's Rancho Obi-Wan for a photo shoot years ago. Of all the toppers I've seen, it's the most interesting since it has a beveled edge instead of just being rounded over.
It's aluminum and made in two pieces, so finishing is easy. It fits into the hole inside Daren's alum dome, and is held with an included 1/4" ss washer and ss 1/4-28 nut.
These Holo-Projectors are club-spec in the visible part, but have a dramatically larger rear access opening, and are very large inside, with two different "steps" you can use to mount electronics.
Each of these is a complete Kid-Proof HP with servo mounting hardware and slip ring. Be sure and select the HP location for each one as the mounting rings are custom for front, back and top locations.
The mounting ring position fixure is very helpful for installation. It's the same for all locations, so you only need to buy one for your dome.
If buying more than one, select shipping for the additional HPs as "Additional HPs".
These skins have been updated to make them easier to prepare, will show which panels always get removed, and include a coin return flat-pack, which you can use to assemble your own coin returns that can glue to the coin return faces, which are also provided as part of the rolled outside skins.

R2-D2 Curved Rear Logic Display. Includes aluminum outer bezel, aluminum inner bezel, both with matching curve to replica R2's display fiber mount. Clear overlay acrylic and the accurate wonky fiber location. This kit requires the curved bezel electronics from Joymonkey.
R2-D2 Aluminum Flat Rear Logic Display bezel. No mounting hardware is included for the bezel. No mounting screws are included for attaching the electronics as they aren't standardized, and generally are included with your electonics. The bezel is tapped 4-40 for them.
R2-D2 Aluminum Front Logic Display bezels (pair). No mounting hardware is included for the bezel. A set of 4-40 screws are included to mount your electronics boards.
This adapter fits the Granite Earth dome drive and allows you to install Pixelfiend's geared dome setup. It has 3 screws for attaching to the motor shaft after you cut it to length. It's best if you can file flats onto the shaft for each of the fixing screws. If you have a dome plate right on top of the gear set, you will want to countersink 82 degrees for flathead screws. The adapter comes with both capscrews and flathead screws.
When you order your gearset from Pixelfiend, tell him you are using this adapter and he will drill the proper holes in the pinion.
